PAINTING AND GALVANIZATION

Parts manufactured in special moulds and tools, are being galvanized and painted to have protection against corrosion. Processes which are seen as optional in Europe, are presented to customer as standard by ELKON Concrete Batching Plants. For example water weight batchers, additive wieght batchers, walking platforms, maintenance gates, paraphets, stairs and conveyor chassises are galvanized as a standard. Also ELKON Concrete Mixing Plants uses JUTON brand epoxy primers and top coatings which have great resistance against corrosion. Dyeing process is being done in modern painting cabins. Each ELKON Concrete Batching Plants factories have two painting cabins.

MANUFACTURING AND CONTROL PROCESSES

As we mentioned before, human factor has an effect on final product. This issue is also valid for equipment preparation and manufacturing processes. Elkon succeded not only isolating the manufacturing process from human factor but also to reach high sensitivity in the production with the special moulds and tools that he designed. For instance the mixers, the panels of aggregate silos, cement silos, manufacturing of the metal construction of winterized covering. Moreover Elkon mostly prefers bolted type connections in his production. Bolted type connections is not only proof of the sensitive production but also provide resistent structure which can be easily interfered. Also there will be no defection in the materials on the connection points as it’s in the welding technic. In addition to this It provides great advantage to the customer during the transportation. (It’s possible to make more reliable and cheaper packaging)

The control system is very important to continue the manufacturing process in a high quality. Many local or foreign manufacturers work with subcontractors to reduce the costs. In this method, responsibility of some processes are being assigned to other manufacturers so that the control chain is broken. ELKON takes over all responsibility thereby producing all units from aggregate bunkers to cement silos. With this specialty Elkon becomes the only manufacturer in Turkey and one of the biggest manufacturers all over the world.

COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN

ELKON Concrete Batching Plants, who has wide R&D and project design departments, uses CAD programmes in all his designs. Through this way, error rate is decreased to zero and millimetric accuracy is reached in manufacturing. Simulation, static and dynamic analysis of new designed products can be actualized by these programmes. Also, accurate components are produced by special machineries using CAM.

Elkon Bahar Şenliği Büyük Bir Çoşku İle Gerçekleştirildi.

Her yıl düzenlenen ve artık geleneksel hale gelen "Elkon Bahar Şenliği" bu yıl 23 Haziran 2013 Pazar günü Korupark - Sarıyer tesislerinde Elkon çalışanlarının yoğun katılımı ile büyük bir çoşku ile gerçekleştirildi.

Elkon Bahar Şenliği kapsamında düzenlenen ve büyük çekişmeye sahne olan "Futbol Turnuvası" ve "Tavla Turnuvası" ile Elkon çalışanları keyifli anlar yaşadılar. Turnuvalar sonunda kazananlara ödülleri Elkon üst yönetimi tarafından verildi. Zaman zaman çoşkulu müzik eşliğinde dans etmeyi de ihmal etmeyen Elkon çalışanları hep beraber güzel bir gün geçirmenin keyfini çıkardı.

According to Turkish Exporters Assembly records, ELKON Concrete Batching Plants, has been298th among the "First 500 Exporters of Turkey List" of the first 5 months of 2013 and has been 260th if only "May, 2013" will be considered thanks to the successfull exports made by ELKON to all over the World.

ELKON was founded in Istanbul in 1975. Up to now, it has successfully accomplished the design, production, installation and commissioning of concrete batching plants, trailer type concrete pumps, concrete recycling plants, concrete mixers, conveyor systems and various industrial facilities. ELKON continues to serve the sector successfully with its more than 50 different models of concrete batching plant and 2 different models of trailer type concrete pumps in more than 86 different countries.

At the beginning, ELKON was established to produce conveyor systems in 100 m² total manufacturing area in Topkapı - Istanbul. "ASSESMENT OF 2012 AND PROSPECTS OF 2013 ELKON MEETING" HAS BEEN HELD BETWEEN THE DATES OF 16-17 MARCH IN ISTANBUL

The main theme of our meeting was "Difference". The awards of "Elkon Shining Stars", "Elkon Superior Success" and "Elkon Heroes" were given to their owners as every year after the presentations of our representatives, "Corporate Video of Elkon", "The Position of Elkon in Turkey and in the World" and "Film of Innova".

Kadir Çöpdemir brightened the second day of our annual meeting with his cheerful conversation on 17th March 2013.
